Description
Synopsis: Acquisition of SPARES for the BaTs AN/ALR-69(v) Purchase Request: FD2060-05-81040P The 542d Combat Sustainment Wing, Robins AFB GA plans to contract for the manufacture of spares for the BaTs Simulator for the An/ALR-69. The following items will be purchased on an all or none basis: Description/PN: Switch SPDT .5-18 S2U6R, Pwr Div 4 way .5 - 18 DMM4518/SMA, Pwr Div 4 way .5 - 2 DMS422/SMA, Pwr Div 4 way .2 - 18 DMS421/SMA, Amp 2 - 18 G=27dB P1=27dBm CA218-344, Amp .5 - 2 G=27dB, P1=27dBm CA02-443, Filter Bank 2-18, PB 4SF3001-99, Filter Bank .5-2, PB 3SF2267, Directional, Coupler 10dB, .5-20 CWM-10R-10.2G, Diode Detector 210A, IBS-1009A .5-18 Synth, 256MB AWG, NI778697-03, (PXI-5421), Clock Generator Board NI778726-01 (PXI6652), PCI to PXI Bridge Boards, NI777942-01 (PCI-8330, PXI-8330), PXI Control Chassis - 18 slot 3U N778645-01 (PXI-1045), A/D USB Interface URDAQ 1614, RFU Power Supply Assy (1336-50-570), Filter Control Unit 1336-22-600 and HCU Computer P4-2800RM. Items will be added to an existing contract as initial spares. The approximate issue/response date will be 13 May 2005. To: KOR Electronics, Cypress CA 90630 No telephone requests will be accepted. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor is acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation that shall be considered. Authority: 10 U.S.C 2304(C)(1). Justification: Spares required are available from only one, or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for spares for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if the award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Security clearances will be required for all bidders or Offers. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. When appropriate, potential offers may contact Ombudsman, Chief Contract Policy and Review Branch at (478) 926-1922. Please be prepared to identify previous contacts made by you in an attempt to resolve your concerns. No foreign participation in this acquisition will be allowed.
