- Description
- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command in support of Naval Sea Systems Command, Program Executive Office Littoral & Mine Warfare (PEO LMW), Maritime Surveillance Systems (MSS) Program Office PMS 485, has a requirement for technician crewmen to operate and maintain Surveillance Towed Array Sensor System (SURTASS) aboard T-AGOS and JAOS class ships, including Low Frequency Active (LFA) and Passive systems; Shipboard Acoustic Analyst (SAA) to provide acoustic analysis aboard T-AGOS class ships, Field Support Team (FST) members to provide SURTASS engineering and logistic support, and to maintain shore SURTASS sites. There are currently four T-AGOS ships, the RV CORY CHOUEST, two JAOS ships and one shore site to be supported by this effort. The base period of performance is one year beginning in FY 06 with four one-year options extending through FY 10. The NAICS code is 541330/$23M.
