Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number NMUSAF 05- 002 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. The National Museum of the United States Air Force (NMUSAF) is seeking to acquire the lighting components listed below for use in its exhibits. This solicitation has 4 line items as follows: LINE ITEM QTY NOMENCLATURE 001 24 ea ETC Source Four 5° Lens Tube*, with knob and color frame 002 24 ea ETC Source Four 10° Lens Tube*, with knob and color frame 003 350 ea Source Four PAR EA lamps*, black, complete with Model 400-LS4, set of four snap-in lenses (wide, medium, narrow, very narrow) Model B, two-pin and ground, 20 amp connector (installed) HPL 575W/115X lamp (installed) C-Clamp (installed) 004 325 ea Source Four PAR EA lamps*, black, complete with Model 400-LS4, set of four snap-in lenses (wide, medium, narrow, very narrow) Model A, Parallel-blade U-ground connector (installed) HPL 575W/115X lamp (installed) C-Clamp (installed) *To insure interchangeability with existing lamps, only Source Four PAR equipment will be considered. Quotations for equipment other that Source Four PAR will not be considered. All Source Four PAR EA lamps will be delivered fully assembled and ready to mount. Any charges for assembly must be included in the quotation submitted. All transportation costs must also be included in the quotation. Individual unit pricing, category total pricing and grand total price for all equipment in compliance with the above specifications is required. Delivery will be made to NMUSAF Exhibits Division, ATTN: Tom Ersted, 2601 "E" Street, Area B, Building 5 Door 18, Wright-Patterson AFB OH 45433-7102. CLOSING DATE/TIME: 15 June 2005, 1600 Hours Submit signed and dated quotations on company letterhead or quotation form. The NMUSAF reserves the right to evaluate proposals and award a contract without discussions with offerors. The NMUSAF will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the NMUSAF, price and other factors considered. All quotations must be valid for 90 days from closing date. All proposals must be received by 1600 hours local on 15 June 2005. Proposals must be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope as follows: "NMUSAF 05-002, Due: 15 June 2005 at 1600 hours" Quotations should be submitted to NMUSAF/MUX, ATTN: Barbara Young, 1100 Spaatz St, Wright-Patterson AFB OH 45433-7102. All quotations must be received no later than 1600 (4:00 PM EDT), 15 June 2005. Quotations received after that time will not be accepted. Payment will be made by a third party via certified check. Payment will not be authorized until all property is received and accepted by the Exhibits Division, NMUSAF. If electronic funds transfer is requested, any and all fees for the transfer will be deducted from the total amount due.
