- Description
- The 96th Contracting Squadron (96 CONS/MSCB), Eglin AFB intends to award a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order notice to purchase a service maintenance agreement (SMA Plus). The sole source award is to the AGFA Corporation, 10 South Academy Street, Greenville SC, 29601-2632. Statutory authority for this sole source action is Title 10 U.S.C. 2304©(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. This solicitation is for information purposes only. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit a proposal. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any proposals received by 29 April 2005 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The announcement number is F1T4AS5095A100. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 811212. Please identify business size in your response based upon this standard. The requirement is as follows: Furnish CLIN 1, (6 months) Service Maintenance Agreement (SMA Plus); Hardware & Software maintenance agreement for ADC and IMPAX equipment. CLIN 2, (6 months) Hardware Maintenance service to include: replacement parts, ordering & delivery 24/7, labor charges, travel & expenses during extended hours of 8 am to 8 pm Mon-Fri, preventative maintenance, inclusive of parts, technical phone support 24/7, dial-in remote access support 24/7, new IMPAX hardware upgrades, image quality audits, extended on-site service hour until 8 pm Mon-Fri and reduced after-hours labor rate for on-site service. CLIN 3, (6 months) Software Maintenance service to include all future IMPAX and Talkstation software releases that are offered during duration of commitment, applicable software enhancements and updates, preferred technical phone support and handling 24/7, dial-in remote access support 24/7, extended on-site service hour until 8 pm Mon-Fri and reduced after-hours labor rate for on-site service, highest priority on-site response time during contract coverage hours, replacement parts and ordering 24/7. CLIN 4, (1 year) Option year of items listed in CLINS 1-3 above. Vendors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (http://www.ccr.gov) before award can be made.
