Description

Provide all necessary labor, material, transportation, equipment and supervision required to dredge the moorings and boat basin at USCG Base Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Coast Guard estimates a total of 30,000 cubic yards to be dredged. Work will involve dredging the boat basin between the south and main piers and the access area to the basin for the USCGC William Tate. The areas around the south pier and to the north of the main pier will also be dredged. Dredging will be accomplished by mechanical or hydraulic means. Spoils shall be loaded onto barges for disposal at the Corps of Engineers Fort Mifflin,Pennsylvania disposal site. The contractor shall pay for disposal fees. Work shall be completed within 45 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. All work is estimated to be completed between 8/22/05 and 9/30/05 when USCGC William Tate is out of the basin. This procurement is estimated between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This procurement is a Total HubZone Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990 with a size standard of $17.0M.
