Description: Priest Lake Ranger District, Bonner County, Idaho and Pend Oreille County, Washington. Project (previously advertised as RFQ R1-04-04-66) consists of several distinct watershed restoration items. These include treating segments of existing roads by recontouring the original roadbed, restoring stream channels, the construction of waterbars, and closing roads with earthen barriers. Channel restoration will involve removing fill and drainage structures at stream crossing sites and returning these sites to their natural state. A total of 5 roads are planned to be treated. Estimated price range between $25,000 and $100,000. Estimated start work of July 15, 2005 with estimated contract time of 60 calendar days. A site visit is planned for June 1, 2004.
