Description

Reprocurement: The contractor shall provide labor, equipment, materials, and transportation and perform all work necessary or required to remove the Vertical Oscillator Tower (also known as the High Amplitude Vertical Accelerator), including the removal of all construction/demolition debris, Area B, Bldg 824, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. The tower is 35' high and consists of a central steel cylinder (approximately 26" in diameter and 1" wall thickness), six steel supporting legs (7" diameter), and a heavy steel base at the bottom of the pit.fill in the approximately 14'x18'x9' deep open pit that houses the base of the Vertical Oscillator Tower in Area B, Bldg 824 and pave it. The solicitation shall be published on 25 April 2005. Response date for solicitations shall be 24 May 2005 at 4 PM. Period of Performance is 45 calendar days after notice to proceed. The estimated magnitude of this effort is between $10,000 and $25,000. Bidders SHALL attend a site visit. A formal site visit is set for May 11, 2005 at 10:00 AM. All contractor personnel shall meet at Bldg 1, Room 101 and will be transported to the site. If any contractor is not able to make this scheduled visit, other visits will be arranged on an exception basis. Notify the POC, below and provide names and social security numbers of those prospective contractor personnel who will attend. This solicitation will only be available electronically.
