Description

The Grand Canyon National Park requires a firm, fixed-price construction contract to furnish all labor, equipment, materials and expertise to rechink 10 cabins, repair log rot on two cabins, remove paint on one cabin and treat exteriors of 10 cabins at the North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park, Grand Canyon, Arizona. Estimated cost range: $25,000 - $100,000. NAICS code for this project is 236118 and the small business size standard is $28.5 million. Contract duration is 120 days following notice to proceed. This is a "full and open competition" award which will be made in accordance with Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number Q8216050028. The RFQ with attachments will be issued electronically on website http://ideasec.nbc.gov/ on or about May 12, 2005. No hard copies will be mailed or issued. Responses will be due approximately 30 days following issuance of solicitation. Search by referencing the solicitation number (above), Department of Interior, National Park Service. An award will be based on best value to the Government with price and other factors considered. The Davis Bacon Act will apply. Prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at http://orca.bpm.gov in conjunction with required registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.ccr.gov in order to receive awards from federal agencies.
