Description

PARSONS, WV HVAC & REROOF PROJECT WITH ADDITIVE AND DEDUCTIVE ITEMS. The USDA Forest Service intends to award a negotiated RFP to remove exiting roofing from flat membrane roof and two 'V' roofs. Remove accordian roof over entry. Construct pitched roofs with shingles. Replace individual cooling units with complete HVAC system. Perform necessary interior renovations to accommodate upgrades. Additive/Deductive items include replace existing roof over Ramp; enclose entry vestibule; construct ADA visitor toilet (unisex), replace existing roofs over Computer building; extend HVAC replacement to Labs, and construct new security door and provide security eletronics. This project is between $250,000 - $500,000. Solicitation will be posted to FEDBIZOPPS www.eps.gov o/a April 29, 2004. Those contractors NOT downloading solicitation/specs/drawings rom website needing a hard copy MUST call Sir Speedy at 610-789-2685 identifying project. There will be a charge and vendors are to work directly with Sir Speedy to work out payment. Bonding will be required. This project is not set-aside for small businesses; however, HUB Zone, 8(a) and Service disabled Veteran owned construction businesses are encouraged to submit a proposal.
