Description

Statement of Work The Federal Retirement Benefits (FRB) Web ? Integrated Solution developed by Economic Systems Inc. (ESI), provides an integrated solution for benefits calculations and automated form filling for both specialists and employees. Hosting for the Web application is provided by ESI. The retirement calculator in FRM Web handles: Voluntary, early and disability retirement Benefits Part-time and Intermittent service Deposits and re-deposits owed Social Security/FERS supplement benefits Thrift Savings Plan benefits? Survivor benefits Severance Pay The integrated application contains CSRS, FERS and other OPM forms for electronic form filling, data storage, and case management. Data in the central data base may be updated bi-weekly with data from the Agency payroll/personnel system. The U.S. Coast Guard intends to procure (1) license for online access for Federal Retirement Benefits. (SEE NOTE 22) This proposed procurement is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis to Economic Systems Inc, 3141 Fairview Park Drive Suite 700 Falls Church, VA 22042 SCOPE: Attach statement of work OR include summary of scope of project. Note 22. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
