Item 0001 is a Spacer. NSN: 2840-01-305-5307RV. P/N: 413918P20. The Spacer provides proper spacing between the 15th and 16th stage compressor disk. Material: AMS5660 Nickel Alloy. Approx. Size 19.214 inches dia. X 1.908 inches thick. Application: TF33. I.A.W. current drawings. Quantity Range MIN 1 ? MAX 13 EA. Destn: Tinker AFB OK 73145-3032. Delivery: August 2006. Government/Commercial, new/unused surplus is acceptable. The approximate issue date of solicitation will be 12 May 2005. The anticipated award date is July 2005. This is a small business set-aside. This item is competitive. Data package will be provided and First Article requirements apply. Qualification requirements: Due to the complexity and criticality of this part, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design can be considered approved sources for this design, or manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing on items determined by the Government to be similar in complexity and criticality can be considered approved sources for this item. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Written quotations are required. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestors are acceptable. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation, which will be considered. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source selection process.
