Description

The 16th Contracting Squadron intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Firearms Training Systems, Inc. Hurlburt Field intends to purchase the following: Four year Extended warrant on Six (6) each Forward-Air-Control Trainer (FATS) Systems, part number: MTS-PKG-01, under developed proprietary software and processes that have tailored the FATS Trainer models to the Air Force?s unique organizational environment. This solicitation is unrestricted and is under North American Industry Classification System Code 333319, with a size standard of 500 employees. Submit questions or comments to 16CONS/LGCY, Attn: MSgt William Johnson, william.johnson4@hurlburt.af.mil, 350 Tully St, PO Box 9190, Hurlburt Field FL 32544-9190 at or before 1600 (4:00 PM CST), 6 Jun 2005. A Firm-Fixed Price Order will be issued in writing. This sole source action is being accomplished under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government believes that Firearms Training Systems Inc. is the only known source that has the proprietary information and design expertise to provide this warranty service. Anticipated award is 6 Jun 05. This notice is NOT a request for quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the Government?s requirements by e-mailing, MSgt William Johnson at william.johnson4@hurlburt.af.mil. Capability statements must include documented ability to satisfy the Government?s requirements. Any information received will only be considered for the purpose of conducting a competitive procurement.
