Description

Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon, Georgia has a requirement for a medical software package for resource (inventory) management with evaluation and management of quality of care in Interventional Radiology Service. Army Contra cting Agency, SR, Directorate of Contracting intends to purchase the items from CONEXSYS, the manufacturer of this proprietary software system, which will integrate with previously purchased quality assurance software package from CONEXSYS. Other componen ts of the package include user training, tablet computer, wedge scanner, one-year support package, and web-based training sessions. The government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The authority is U.S.C.2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later t han 4:30 p.m. EST on 6 May 2005. Interested parties may submit questions no later than 29 April 2005. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive bas is. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the agency.
