Description of requirement: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 442210. The small business size standard is $6.0. Description of requirement/delivery and acceptance and FOB point The Alamosa Field Division of the Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement for 24" X 24" Commercial Carpet Tiles (including installation) for the office building located at: 10900 Hwy 160 East, Alamosa, CO. The following are the required sailent characteristics. Fibertype: Colorstrand SD Nylon Carpet Specifications: Product Type: Modular, Commercial Grade, Textured Patterned Loop Tile Size: 24" x 24" Fibertype: Colorstrand SD Nylon Pile weight: 23.0 oz. per yard Pile Thickness: 10.0 - 10.7 Density: 8,280 Flammability: ASTM E 648 Class 1 (Glue Down) Smoke Density: ASTM E 662 Less than 450 Warranties: Lifetime Limited Modular Warranty, Lifetime Colorfastness to Light, 10 year limited Colorfastness to Atmospheric Contaminants, Year Stain Warranty, Lifetime Static GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Remove and dispose of existing carpet. 2. Prepare floor base for laying of new carpet. 3. Lay carpet in offices. Discussions will be held with the vendor upon contract award in order to determine an agreed upon schedule and timeframe for installation. Installation to be performed in two phases. 4. Installation shall be according to Manufacturer's Recommendations and specifications. 5. Provide descriptive literature of carpet you are quoting on. 6. Color and pattern samples will be decided upon after award.
