Description: The rental of a R-44 Raven II helicopter for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to support a vegetation mapping project in the Tetlin NWR. The project will start on June 19, 2005 and end on July 1, 2005. The project is estimating 5 hours of flight a day. The aircraft will be equipped with a GPS, a survival kit, tundra pads, cargo rack, FM radio, and a barrel pump with filters. The vendor shall be approved for work under the Aircraft Rental Agreement with Aviation Management - Alaska Regional Office. The pilot shall be endorsed for rough terrain, and low level flying activities. The aircraft will be endorsed for low level flying activities.
