Description
This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only the solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) and the solicitation number is M6700105Q0048 . Documentation number M9317705SU00306. This is a Request for Quote to provide to the Government the following services and supplies. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-03. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 235990 and the small business size standard is 100 employees. Item#0001: Provide to the Government the following services and supplies, Dust suppression and spraying to treat approximately 18.8 miles of unpaved roads aboard the Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune,. The contractor shall provide 112 Flake Tons of Calcium Chloride, CaC12 at 42%. The contractor shall provide spraying truck and associated applicator equipment as follows. (1) The spray truck shall have: Minimum tank holding capacity of 4000 gallons, capability of unloading trucks and cars with no spillage, at a minimum rate of three hundred (300) gallons per minute; spray bar capable of providing spray of calcium chioride at one (1). pound per square yard; programmable control system to maintain an even application rate regardless of vehicle speed changes and spray width; the spray truck shall have the capability of one person operation during spraying sequences from inside the truck cab. (2). Applicator spraying equipment shall: be equipped with a spray bar pressure minimum o! f 35 psi and with a minimum of sixteen (16) spray nozzles that deliver twenty (20) gallons per minute to provide an even coverage on the road.; be equipped with a spray bar extensions, shall be controlled by the truck operator to swing back from the extended position while moving to prevent obstruction with oncoming traffic, and clashing with other stationary objects along the road for safety reasons. Be equipped with a right side spray bar extension and hoses with a handheld nozzle capable of spraying road shoulders, berms and adjace areas of requested. RECOMMEND ON-SITE VISIT. The contractor is required to be available to commence working within 15 calandar days of receipt of contract award. The contractor shall not commence until the starting date has been verified. Quotes other than FOB Destination will be rejected. The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquis! ition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offers. OFFEROR SHALL PROVIDE COMPLETED COPIES OF FAR 52.212-3 AND DFARS 252.225-7000 WITH THEIR QUOTE. The Offeror is required to provide their Contractors DUNS Number and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code with their quote. The CAGE code entered must be for that name and address provided by the Contractor.
