- Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office ? Southwest intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Oshkosh Truck Corporation 2307 Oregon Street Oshkosh, WI 54902-2700 to provide twenty-five (25) MK14 Repair Kits for the MK14 Container Transporter Rear Body Unit for delivery to Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, California. This Notice of Intent is not a request for proposal or quotations. A formal solicitation will not be issued and the solicitation number referenced above is for reference purposes only. Any interested party may submit its Expression of Interest (EOI). No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to respond to the requirement. The government will consider all EOIs received prior to May 9, 2005, by 4:00 PM. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determin! ing whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. EOIs sent via the U.S. Postal Service should be mailed to: Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office ? Southwest, Attn: James Burnham, P. O. Box 1609, Oceanside, CA 92051-1609. EOIs sent via commercial currier services or hand carried must be delivered to: Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office ? Southwest, Attn: James Burnham, Bldg 22180, Camp Pendleton, CA 92055, Monday through Friday 7:00AM through 4:00 PM. EOIs may be submitted via facsimile to: Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office ? Southwest, Attn: James Burnham at (760) 725-8445. Facsimile transmissions must clearly identify this notice on the first page. Submitters bear the burden of ensuring that the EOI reaches the designated contracting officer on time and should allow a reasonable time for facsimi! le transmissions to be completed. All pages of the transmission must reach the contracting office before the deadline specified and pages of a facsimile transmission that arrive at the contracting office after the specified deadline will not be considered. The submitter bears the risk of non-receipt of facsimile transmissions and should confirm by telephone that any facsimiles are received. The procurement will be under FAR Parts 12 and 13.
