Description

The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, the Department of Defense Medical School and Health Sciences University, hereby announces its intent to award a sole source purchase order to Lynx Product Group, in Middleport, NY, to provide a preventative maintenance service contract. The agreement shall include quarterly on-site preventative maintenance for parts and labor on a Lynx Model 410LX Cage and Rack Washer, and a Lynx Model 536LXi Tunnel Cage Washer. The purchase order will be for a period of one year, with four one-year options. Lynx Product Group is the original manufacturer of these products and is the only authorized vendor to offer repair and maintenance on these machines. The statutory authority permitting this award under other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), as cited in FAR 6.302-1 that authorizes USUHS to award contract when only one source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
