Description

U.S. Customs and Border Protection intends to issue a purchase order for messenger/courier services to be provided to 6 CBP locations on a daily basis. All locations are in and surrounding Charleston, SC. The service will be for a base year and two one-year options. Base Year Period of Performance is 10/01/05 - 09/30/06. A formal Request For Quotations (RFQ) will be issued on or about 27 June 2005. This RFQ will provide for service in FY-06. However, funding will not be made available until FY-06 (October 2005 or later). Therefore, all quotes must be valid from 10/01/05 until 11/30/05 and should be priced with multi-year options included. Stop locations and all other pertinent information shall be included in the RFQ. For a copy of the RFQ, contact Rick Travis at (317) 614-4580 or by e-mail at Richard.Travis@dhs.gov (e-mail preferred). All quotations must be received by 3PM Local Time on 29 July 2005. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Quotations may be sent via facsimile or e-mail to the RFQ when released. All responsible small businesses may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The Federal Supply Code is R602 and the NAICS Code is 492210. See Numbered Note 1.
