- THIS SOLICITATION IS HEREBY AMENDED TO EXTEND THE RESPONSE DATE TO MAY 06, 2005. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number DG133C-05-RP-1132 is issued as a Request for Proposals. The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA/NOS Office of Coast Survey, Marine Chart Division, has a requirement for Print-On-Demand (POD) nautical charts. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 323115. The objectives of this procurement are to provide for availability of official POD charts. The contractor would print, then sell and distribute the resulting POD charts that meet NOAA?s specifications. An RFP and the accompanying Statement of Work entitled, Print On Demand Nautical Chart Production dated April 13, 2005 is attached. The following applicable security requirements are also attached to this posting: 1) System Security Certification and Accreditation Documents Requirements and 2) System Sensitivity Guidance. The period of performance is 60 months from date of award . Responses must be sent electronically in MS Word format to pauline.jaffe@noaa.gov and in paper no later than 11:00 am on May 06, 2005 to Pauline Jaffe, Acquisition Management Division, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, 1305 East West Highway, Suite 7168, Silver Spring, Maryland 20910. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provisions 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items (Jan 2005), 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999), 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Jan 2005), and 52.216-27 Single or Multiple Award (Oct 1995) apply to this acquisition. FAR clauses 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Oct 2003) and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Jan 2005) apply to this acquisition.
