Description

The Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center is currently seeking sources to determine the availability of SMALL BUSINESSES, capable and interested in providing engineering services to inspect and repair the Isotrol Systems? isolated power system in designated areas of the medical system. Maintenance shall be performed in the Fall and Spring, at a six-month interval. Contractor shall furnish all parts, labor, and travel to maintain the above-mentioned equipment in optimum operating condition. The anticipated performance period is October 1, 2005 through September 30, 2006, with four one-year option periods. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 12. The NAICS Code is 811310 and the size standard is $6.0 million dollars. Responses to this announcement shall determine if sufficient competition exists in the small business community in order to set this procurement aside for small business concerns. The anticipated release date of the solicitation package is May 31, 2005. Please provide interest in this solicitation by responding to this announcement no later than May 13, 2005. Please indicate business size, capability statement(s) to include personnel qualifications, and other pertinent information about your business. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, QUOTATION, OR BID.
