- ACC Contracting Squadron, Langley AFB, VA is in the process of conducting market research to determine industry capability and availability for a potential requirement for MQ-1/9 Predator aircraft pilot services at CONUS and OCONUS sites worldwide. Pilot services for the unmanned aerial vehicles are required to sustain the combat and training capability at tasked locations worldwide. Pilot services consist of launch and recovery efforts for the assigned aircraft. Pilots shall be capable of safely conducting unmanned aerial vehicle system missions, including precise and efficient response to emergency situations. The contractor will be required to provide fully trained pilots for subsequent certification in accordance with AFI 11-202V2 and AFI 11-2MQ-1V2. A government flight representative will be the certifying official for flight evaluations. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 488190, ?Other Activities for Air Transportation?, size standard $6 million. We are seeking information and comments from industry that will be used to determine capabilities of industry and subsequent acquisition strategy. The government will not pay for information received in response to this request, and is in no way obligated by the information received.
