Item 0001 is a Bearing. NSN: 3110-00-864-9276RV. P/N: 389821. The Cylinder Roller Bearing. Bearing is a steel cylindrical roller type bearing consisting of AN OUTER RACE, CAGE AND ROLLERS. There are a total of sixteen (16) rollers retained within the bearing cage. Cage and rollers are nonseparable. Bearing outer race, inner race cage and rollers when assembled constitute make-up of the entire bearing assembly. The function of the bearing is to absorb high speed radials loads created by the generator drive spur gearshaft located within the main engine gearbox. This bearing also provides support for the forward end of the generator drive spur gearshaft. The dimensions are: Width .7874? X Bore Dia. 1.9683/1.9685? X Outside Dia. 3.5433?. Standard Tol. Is RBEC #5. Internal clearance 0.0012 MIN/.0022 Inches Max Radial. Material consists of outer race ? PWA 723, Steel inner race and roller is also PWA 723 Steel. Cage is made of AMS 4616 Material. The approximate issue date of solicitation will be 4 May 2005. The anticipated award date is May 2005. This item is competitive. Qualification requirements: Due to the complexity and criticality of this part, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design can be considered approved sources for this design, or manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing on items determined by the Government to be similar in complexity and criticality can be considered approved sources for this item. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Written quotations are required. This item is competitive. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestors are acceptable. The Government does not own the data or the rights to the data needed to purchase this part from additional sourcesAll responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation, which will be considered.
