Description

Section SF 1449 - CONTINUATION SHEET STATEMENT OF WORK The Air Force Reserve has a requirement to upgrade from a ? rack configuration on our VTC hub to a full rack configuration to support existing VTC requirements and to allow for required growth (currently two additional rooms). Our current hub configuration is ?maxed? out and there are no additional slots for cards needed to support additional AFRC customers. Because of this, there is a need to provide for additional connectivity to other AFRC VTC users in the headquarters through the addition of another ATLAS switch. Our requirement is to remove the current ? rack, and replace it with a full rack configuration with shelves and to provide an enclosed cabinet, add an additional Atlas switch, and all associated cabling to connect to the existing hub infrastructure. Additionally there is a need for 2 PC?s to support Web Commander and management utilities for the ADTRAN switches from the hub rack. Our current configuration does not allow for this capability. Installation of two rack mountable PCs with appropriate A/B switches so we can switch between ATLAS devices is needed. To accomplish this, all existing hardware and wiring will have to be reworked into the new cabinet. SF 1449 SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED ON 29 APRIL 2005.
