Description

PLEASE NOTE: The previous noitce shall be deleted in it's entirety and replaced with the description provided below. REPLACE SANITARY SEWER PUMP STATION at Mc CONNELL AFB, KANSAS. An existing basement, wet well and sanitary lines are in place. The work to be performed consists of completing the sanitary sewer pump station project. The remaining scope requires constructi on of the masonry structure, standing seam metal roof, pumps, pump controls, mechanical/electrical system, interior finishes and site work. The Magnitude of Construction is between $1,000,00 and $5,000,000. The Request for Proposal will be a Technically Acceptable Low Price. The Request For Proposal (RFP) Solicitation will be accessible through the web site provided below. PLEASE BE ADVISED: Companies that have not had and cannot verify experience in or with the following need not apply. Project having three or more pumps Capacity between 500 gpm and 3200 gpm Project with at least one gas detector Project with at least one level sensor Project with at least one flow meter Project with at least 15 analog or discrete input/output points The solicitation will be available on the Kansas City District web page only. There is a new Federal Integrated Acquisition Environment (IAE) initiative called Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). ORCA is a web-based system that centralizes and standardizes the collection, storage, and viewing of many of th e representations and certifications required by the Federal Acquisition Regulations and previously found in solicitations. According to the language in FAR case 2002-024, vendors are required to use ORCA beginning 1 January 2005.
