Description

The National Park Service, Department of the Interior, is soliciting quotes for replacing the sewer lagoon liners at Fort Union National Monument, Watrous, New Mexico. The work consists of providing all materials, supplies, equipment, labor, and all other incidentals as necessary for removal and installation of approximately 34,757 square feet of 45 mil reinforced polypropylene geomembrane; light grading and compaction of 3,396 sq. yds. of existing lagoon subgrade; installation of 39 inch wide geocomposite strip vents under the geomembrane totaling approximately 5,836 sq. ft.; and all associated work including dry sludge removal and disposal, anchor trench excavation, berm vents, and pipe boots. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Department of the Interior's National Business Center (NBC) website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be made available. Potential quoters will be required to visit this website periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the solicitation documents. No other notifications will be sent. NAICS code for the solicitation is 237110 and the applicable size standard for this project is $28.5 million average annual receipts for the past three years. This soliciation is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Issuance of the Request for Quotation is anticipated on or about May 16, 2005. Only hard copy responses to the Request for Quotation will be considered. Electronic quotes will not be accepted.
