- The National Park Service, Midwest Regional Office will be soliciting proposals for a firm-fixed price design, production and installation of exhibits and information desk at Kabetogama Lake Visitor Center at Voyageurs National Park, Kabetogama, Minnesota. Solicitation number N6820053961. The work will consist of the design, production, and installation of exhibits, and information desk and sales area for a space of 925 square feet. The main interpretive focus of the Kabetogama Lake Visitor Center is Water (wetlands), Plants and Animals, and People (forest management/historic district). The exhibits should briefly introduce visitors to the voyageurs and the park's geology. Exhibits should include interactive elements relating to the native plants, animals and water environments within the park. Award of a firm-fixed price contract is estimated to be made on or before July 27, 2005, with all work completed by April 27, 2007. Evaluation will be based on the following criteria in descending order of importance: (1) Creative Concept Plan, (2) Samples of Work, (3) Comprehensive Plan, (4) Qualification and relevant experience of proposed key personnel, (5) Past Performance, and (6) Cost. This solicitation will be a small business set-aside. Award will be based on best value to the Government. Debriefing will not be made available until after contract award. The solicitation package will be issued on or about May 13, 2005 with approximately 30 days response time. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be issued.
