- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst requires two (2) each Test Chamber, P/N 711-07153; two (2) each Holding Fixture, P/N 811-00461, and two (2) each Cocking Fixture, P/N 811-00394 for the Taiwan Air Force Hawkeye 2000E parachute ensemble system. The government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with FXC Corporation of Santa Ana, CA. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, this firm is considered the only company familiar with the required items, as they are the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), and designer of the units. The Government does not possess the drawings or technical data at this time. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. SEE NOTE 22
