Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items under the GSA Federal Supply Schedule, Group 70 contracts. This announcement constitutes the request for quotations (RFQ) for the required items under RFQ number AG-82TS-S-05-0014. A subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. Award will be made by issuance of a delivery order under the applicable GSA FSS contract to the vendor that the Government determines provides the best value (price, delivery period, past performance, and other relevant factors considered). All terms and conditions of the awardee?s GSA contract shall apply to the subsequent award. There will be no formal ranking of quotes received. Inquiries will only be accepted by email to the primary contact person listed in this RFQ. Only those quotes that meet or exceed the Government?s requirements will be considered. Quoters are not to submit sales, marketing, or other corporate literature that does not specifically address the requirements of this RFQ. This proposed action is for commercial items for which the Government intends to acquire the brand name items on a sole source basis under 41 U.S.C. 253(C)(1). The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) requires additional Hewlett Packard (HP) brand KVM equipment to add to existing HP KVM switches of the same model in the Fort Collins, Colorado production web farm. For compatibility reasons, the model must be the same. The cost of replacing all existing equipment with another brand is not advantageous to the Government. USDA, Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Information Technology Services (ITS) is issuing this combined synopsis/solicitation to request firm, fixed-price quotes, via GSA Schedule, for the following products (line items) to be delivered FOB destination, inside delivery, to Fort Collins, Colorado: LI 01) HP Cat5 3x1x16 IP Console Switch, P/N 262586-B21, Qty 2 each; LI 02) HP IP Console 8 Pack Interface Adapter, P/N 262587-B21, Qty 10 each; LI 03) HP IP Cat5, 8-port KVM Expansion Module, P/N 262589-B21, Qty 10 each; LI 04) HP TFT5600RKM Integrated 1U US Keyboard & Monitor, P/N 221546-001, Qty 2 each; LI 05) HP Input Device Adjustable Telco Rail, P/N 287139-B21, Qty 2 each; LI 06) HP IP Cat5, Qty 4 per pack, 20ft/6.1m Cable, P/N 262474-B24, Qty 3 each; and LI 07) HP IP Cat5, Qty 8 per pack, 12ft/3.7m Cable, P/N 262474-B23, Qty 10 each. At a minimum, GSA FSS vendors shall provide a price quotation on letterhead which identifies (1) the GSA Schedule contract number; (2) the requested line items with unit prices and extended prices; (3) a total price for the quotation; (4) delivery time after award; (5) prompt payment terms; (6) payment remittance address; (7) Tax I.D. #; and, (8) DUNS #. Responses to this solicitation are due by May 5, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. Mountain Time. Quotations shall be emailed to debbie.dove@ftc.usda.gov. Reference RFQ AG-82TS-S-05-0014 on the subject line of the email message transmitting the quotation.
