Description

Renovation of Nursing Home Care Unit Showers (Bldg. 62), Project No. 637-05-106. The contractor shall provide materials, tools, equipment, labor and supervision to perform the work of renovation of the Nursing Home Care Unit Showers in Building 62 at the VA Medical Center, Asheville, North Carolina. The work includes the renovation of two congregate bathrooms on first and second floors of Building 62 and shall be done in two phases. All work shall be in accordance with construction drawings and specifications, as well as meet all OSHE, EPA, VA, and other guidelines and requirements. Estimated construction cost is between $25,000, and $100,000 and should take 60 days to complete (including submittal review) after date of receipt of the notice to proceed. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for competition among Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and proof of such classification shall accompany the firm?s bid. The NAICS Code 236220 applies with a size standard of less than $27.5 million dollars. The award of this project is subject to the availability of funds. The solicitation packet is available as of the date of this synopsis and can be downloaded and printed from this website. Drawings must be requested in writing on company letterhead. Ten sets of drawings will be available and issued on a first come, first served basis until the supply is exhausted. Drawings will not be uploaded. Telephone requests will not be honored.
