Description

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform the service of baseweide refuse collection and disposal. The contractor shall maintain established routes for Sheppard AFB and must also be able to provide an alternative method of food waste pick-up which would include compost disposal of the waste via a "tankage" or similar method. The contractor will dispose of all refuse and food waste at an offsite location in accordance with existing local, state, and federal regulations. The contract will be a competitive 8(a) firm offering. The proposed contract will have a one (1) year basic contract period, (1 Oct 05-30 Sep 06) with four (4) one year options available there after. SEE ATTACHED SOLICITATION, AND ALL SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS. CONFIRM BY DATE SET FORTH IN SOLICITATION IF YOU WILL BE ATTENDING THE SITE VISIT.
