- YPG05111000862, NSN 6140-00-866-6815, Storage Battery, Nickel-Cadmium, Sealed Cells in accordance with a military/federal specification/standard MS17334P dated 82 APR 04, Type number MS17334-2. This is being procured as full and open competition after the exclusion of sources ? procurement is set-aside for small businesses. This battery is a non-commercial item with a 60 month shelf-life. Material Safety Data Sheets are required. This solicitation is for a firm-fixed price proposal for a quantity of 70 EA going to Richmond, VA and 86 EA going to Tracy, CA. Requested terms are FOB Destination, Inspection/Acceptance Origin, QAP-107. The solicitation includes a provision for a quantity option. Pricing for the option units must be submitted with the proposal. Production Lot Testing is a requirement and Lot Acceptance Test Samples will be sent to Crane, IN prior to shipping order quantities. Requested delivery for the test samples is 110 days ARO. Delivery of the order quantities is requested 155 days ARO, which allows for test and evaluation of the test samples. Solicitation may be available for issue on or about May 20, 2005 and close on or about June 20, 2005. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
