Description

Please note that this is reserved 100% for small business. Thsi is not yet a requirement we are just trying to see if the industry is able to support this build. The showcase will be located in the front lobby of the 480th Intelligence Wing, Bldg 23 on Langley AFB, VA. The attached PowerPoint slide gives a visual depiction of what we are looking for. The dimensions we are looking for are: 6 feet high 3 feet deep 7 feet 4 inches long These dimensions are maximum dimensions allowed for the space we want to utilize. The wood used for the shell of the showcase needs to be a high grade mahogany or oak. The cutout in the middle of the showcase will need to display a 17" monitor. The two areas on either side of the monitor will have a blue background with glass inserts over it. The glass inserts will need to be removable and will have etching on them. (The visual gives detail on the etching) The area at the bottom of the showcase will need to house the computer used for the video display. An area open to design is the display of Wing Memorabilia. We would like a tiered glass enclosure, either in front of the showcase (as seen in the 3d view) or along the sides of the showcase. This glass enclosure will have shelves to display various trophies, awards, etc. from the Wing. These are the basic guidelines for the showcase, some modifications are authorized.
