DESCRIPTION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this announcement. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Synopsis/Solicitation FA8751-05-Q0481 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), for a firm fixed-priced order incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-3 and DFARS Change Notice DCN 2005-0422. The NAICS code is 334220 for this acquisition with a small business size standard of 750 employees. Please submit quote for the following like or similar item(s). DRS Signal Technologies, P/N PISTOL 350, a 50 MHz Spectrum Display System/Spectrum Analyzer (QTY 1), and DRS Signal Technologies, P/N PISTOL XD, External SCSI Drive (QTY 1). Quote FOB Destination and include warranty terms. A single vendor must furnish all items. Partial awards will not be considered. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies; provide with your quotation all the data requested by Far 52.212.1. Failure to do so may eliminate you from consideration for award. Award will be made based on price of a technically acceptable product. See the EPS.
