Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation documents incorporate provisions and clauses of those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-03. This acquisition shall be unrestricted. The North American Indu stry Classification System (NAICS) is 334511, size standard is 750 employees. This requirement is for the purchase of the items listed below. List of contract line items number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure: 0001/ITEM: 1 ea; AutoClear 10080 T (110 VAC), X-Ray Scanner (Control Screening); 0002/ITEM: 1 ea, 6 Parcel Collector (Roller Bed); 0003/ITEM: 1 ea, Installation 0004/ITEM: 1 ea, User training (estimated 20 soldiers). This requirement allows offerors to submit items that are brand name o r equal to the item listed in 0001; See FAR reference below. Award shall be made only to contractor who is registered with the Central Contractor Registration at: www.ccr.gov. FOB is Destination; Contractor shall deliver X-Ray Scanner not later than 18 Ma y 2005 to Central Receiving Point, 4851 Chiles Ave, Bldg 330, Ft Carson, CO 80913. Training to soldiers shall be accomplished on or about 19 May 2005. The provisions in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commerci al applies to this acquisition to include any addendums to the provision. FAR Clause 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial items applies to this solicitation. Technical, delivery time and price will be the only factors used for evaluation with technical, deliver y and price being equal.
