Description

The Bureau of Land Management Taos Field Office, through the New Mexico State Office, has an upcoming requirement for the drilling and construction of water wells in Taos County, New Mexico. Two locations, Moeller Well Site and Punche Well Site, are within 5 miles of one another. Stock water wells at both sites shall be with the use of conventional air rotary drilling or cable tool methods. Task requirements include record-keeping, well development, disinfection of well, and water quality testing. The magnitude of the award is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000 for both sites combined. Multiple awards may be made if determined to be in the best interest of the government. Period of performance is approximately 30 days for each well. Performance shall commence immediately after award. Request for Quotation No. GDQ051043, using the procedures prescribed by FAR Part 36 - Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts in conjunction with FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures, will be issued on or by May 9, 2005. This is a total small business set-aside. Evaluation preference may be given to firms participating in SBA-certified, small business programs such as Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned; 8a; HUBZone, etc.. NAICS is 237110 with a small business size standard of $12M or less. PSC is F015. A pre-offer site visit is scheduled for Thursday, May 12, 2005 at 10:00 AM.
