N4190050012. This solicitation as well as any concurrently issued amendments will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about May 3, 2005. Telephone r "fax" requests for this solicitation will not be accepted. Work to be executed consists of (1) the removal of a 70 foot self supporting tower and foundation, (2) design, supply and install a 125 foot monopole communication tower with foundation, (3) install a government provided antenna, (4) provide and install a coax communication cable providing all antenna connections and connections to government owned repeater and (5) obtain all necessary building permits. The tower and installation shall be constructed to meet or exceed all applicable EIA/TIA specifications, OSHA standards, local, state and national building codes, safety requirements and components of this specification. The tower is located at 4100 Bayside Drive, Public Landing, Maryland. A pre-proposal site visit will not be scheduled for this project. NAICS Code 237130 - Power and Communication Line and related Structures Construction. This solicitation is being conducted as a Source Selection process under P.L. 100-656; all responsible offerors may submit both a technical and cost proposal and be considered for award. Only one (1) award will be made. This is not a sealed bid process therefore offerors not submitting the required technical and cost proposals will not be considered for any further evaluation. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $200,000. Hard copy proposal documents only shall be accepted for this solicitation (NO faxed or electronic proposal documents will be accepted). Award shall be made to the responsive and responsible offeror whose offer will be most advantageous to the Government, considering the evaluation factors to be included in the solicitation under Section M - Evaluation Factors for Award. Contractor awarded this contract will need to be on the Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov).
