Description

The U.S. Geological Survey, Patuxent Wildlife Research Center, plans to make a non-competitive award via written request for quotation No. 05ER18-No Solicitation number to Protective Security, Inc. Lanham, MD. To provide 2 fully installed, fully tested and operational surveillance system (Gabrielson and Front Gate). The gate #7 access system change over, the new front gate card reader, the completed Vet Hospital access system and completed, fully tested and operational change over of the control for the center's access system from BARC (Beltsville Agricultural Research Center). Protective Service is currently responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of the entire BARC security and access control system and the only one allowed access to retrieve data off that system to their new system. Therefore this would contribute to saving the center a lot of money in labor cost. U.S. Geological Survey anticipates awarding this to Protective Security, Inc. Lanham, MD. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The anticipated award date is 05/09/2005, under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. Delivery is required by 07/11/2005. NAICS is 561621. Information will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Determination to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses to this notice must be submitted to http://ideasec.nbc.gov.
