- Description
- The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Sealift Support Program Office, Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC seeks potential sources to perform repassivation of the stainless steel components with nitric acid, rewiring of rotary battery switches and repainting of corroded commercial items, on three (3) Amphibious Bulk Liquid Transfer Systems (ABLTS). Each ABLTS system consists of 3 hose reels, 1 bow chute assembly, 6 hose reel ISO fast mount plates, 4 bow chute mounting plates, 2 hose reel/bow chute bumper posts and 2 hose reel aft bumper plates, all together defined as the equipment. These systems will originate from Blount Island Command (BIC) Jacksonville, FL. The contractor will be responsible for all shipping of equipment from BIC to the contractor?s facility and returning equipment to origin and/or sending equipment to other locations, as well as off loading of equipment at contractor?s facility. Contractors shall provide responses by close of business 10 May 2005. Responses shall at a minimum, include name of company, organization and/or division group and specify company status such as hubzone, large or small business, point of contact, telephone number, and e-mail address. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government reserves the right to consider set-asides such as hubsone, small business and 8(a) based on the responses received.
