Description

Elmendorf AFB, Alaska has a SOLE SOURCE requirement for airfield maintenance of the runway at Galena AFS, Galena, AK. This requirement includes snow removal and ice abatement, foreign object debris (FOD) removal and vegetation control. This is a SOLE SOURCE acquisition to the State of Alaska (SOA). The SOA owns the land, and resources needed for this requirement. Duration of the contract will be one (1) basic year and nine (9) option years. The request for proposal will be sent to the SOA on or about 4 Mar 2004 with responses due on or about 29 April 2003. This acquisition is classified under the SIC Code 4851, and NAICS Code 488119 size standard $6M.
