Description
This pre-soliciation notice is amended to add "Numbered Note" 27 which indicates the contract is being set-aside for certified HUBZone small business concerns. Only offers submitted by firms certified as a HUBZone small business will be considered. All eligible and responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. Eligible and capable firms are encouraged to download a copy of the solicitation and supporting documents from this electronic portal when it is available (on or about May 30, 2005). Please be advised and aware that any amendments to the resulting solicitation will also be posted via FedBizOpps. Offerors are responsible for monitoring the website for any solicitation amendments which shall be acknowledged in the proposal submission. END OF AMENDMENT The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract for grounds maintenance services (base with four one-year option periods) on the basis of a Total HUBZone set-aside. The work will require the contractor to perform the full range of grounds maintenance functions for sixteen (16) Sector locations within the U.S. Border Patrol, San Diego, California Border Sectors. Contract requirements will include the following tasks: seeding, weed and pest control, fertilizing, grass mowing and edging, raking and removal of leaves and clippings, shrubbery & palm tree trimming, and dethatching & aerating. In addition, the contractor will be required to prepare and maintain a quality control plan. The solicitation will be made available through this electronic data exchange on or about May 30, 2005. Two-day preproposal site visits will be conducted. Please review the resulting solicitation (HSBP1005R0385) for details of how to attend the site visits. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS NOTICE REPLACES PREVIOUS PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR SOLICITATION NO. HSBP1005R50377.
