Description
Note 26 applies. RFQ is for the purchase of two items as follows: Item 0001 AB - Cloth, duck, nylon, spanish yellow 70068 (both sides) 51" width, Type II, Class 3 to be I/A/W MIL-C-7219F dated 19 Mar 1987 and Int. Am. No. 2 dated 2 Apr 1990, NSN 8305-00-515-5513, 1,620 yrs; Item 0002 AB - Cloth, duck, nylon, colorchip #34094, Class 3 to be I/A/W MIL-C-7219F dated 19 Mar 1987 and Int. Am. No. 2 dated 2 Apr 1990. Quotes are to be based on FOB Destination Albany, GA. Production lead time is 90 days after day of award or sooner for delivery. Request for Quotation SP0100-05-Q-4145 will only be available through the Procurement Gateway. Copies of this solicitation will be made available on the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.mil/home or http://12.3.216.20/home at time of solicitation issuance. From the Gateway homepage, select "search RFQs" from the right hand sidebar. Then close the RFQ you wish to download and view these documents you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. In addition, to receive E-MAIL NOTIFICATION OF RFQs you must register with the USER PROFILE feature on the Gateway. Specification/patterns and/or applicable documents can be obtained by contacting the buyer Linda Rein at 215-737-2434 or linda.rein@dla.mil. An estimated, repeat estimated response date of 7 June 2005 is established. This RFQ will be solicited as "Unrestricted". Important Note on Foreign Content The Defense appropriation acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as ?The Berry Amendment?) impose restrictions on the DOD?s acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and ?specialty metals? (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
