Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source firm fixed priced purchase order to Ocimum Biosolutions, LLC, 876 Guion road, Indianapolis, IN, 46268, is the only known provider for this particular services. Oligonucleotide arrays, Human 40K OciChip A+B set. This microarray order is for gene expression analysis of samples derived from an early life stress cohort study conducted in collaboration with Emory University?s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. The purpose is to use these microarrays to evaluate functional genomic responses to psychosocial stress that alter HPV axis function. This gene expression profiling study is important to the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) Research Program because HPA axis dysfunction is implicated in causing CFS. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. However, information received will be considered solely for information purposes only.
