Description
This market survey is issued in accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS), Section 3.21.2.1 to determine if other sources exist to provide ISO 9000 software. Sources who believe they are capable of responding must meet the attached required specifications at a minimum. The period of performance is estimated to begin July 1, 2005 through December 31, 2005 and four (4) one-year option periods. The office of Aviation Safety (AVS) at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is in the process of fully implementing their ISO 9000 program. At present, the software company ETQ is providing the FAA with the software, upgrades, and maintenance to accomplish this effort. INTERESTED VENDORS: Other sources capable of complying with all requirements identified in this posting within the FAA's required timeframes may provide information regarding their capabilities totaling no more than (10) ten pages and should be submitted no later than 2 pm local time, May 12, 2005 to the following address: Attn. Submissions may also be submitted electronically via email at loni.chin@faa.gov, however it is the vendor's responsibility to ensure timely submissions electronically. Late submissions will not be considered. Any vendor whose product meets all of the specifications is subject to submitting their software for demonstration upon request. This market survey does not constitute a SIR and cannot be construed as a commitment by the Federal Government. The FAA shall not be liable for any costs associated with the preparation of any responses to this announcement, nor reimburse or otherwise pay any cost incurred by any party responding to this survey.
