Description

Furnish all labor, supplies, parts, transportation, equipment, and facilities necessary to perform all work required for completion of Project Number FTQW 04-1024 in strict accordance with this Statement of Work and all contract requirements. Work of the Base Bid is comprised of replace elevator cab, hoistway entrance doors, controllers, cables, pulleys, counterweights, buffers and associated components in the existing freight elevator at Eielson?s Central Heat and Power Plant. Construct an enclosure around the elevator machinery. The existing elevator is a traction-type, with a travel of about 55 feet and is rated for 2,500 pounds. The new elevator shall be rated for 3,000 pounds. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. This acquisition is being solicited under full and open competition conditions. THIS SOLICITATION IS PAPERLESS AND WILL BE AVAILABLE VIA CD-ROM. AMENDMENTS WILL BE PROVIDED ON THE INTERNET ONLY. Award will be a Firm Fixed Price contract and the total performance period is 90 calendar days. **NOTE: All contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration (CCR) program in order to receive a contract award from any DOD activity. Contractors may access the Internet site at: http://www.ccr.gov to register and/or obtain information about the CCR program.** The solicitation will be available on or about 20 May 05.
