Description

The US Geological Survey intends to award a sole-source order to the University of Western Australia's Centre for Water Research for adaptation of multi-dimensional liminological models for the application to Coeur d'Alene Lake for the purpose of simulation of lake management scenarios. The University is the only known source of specialized models, unique field research tools and real-time data acquisition protocols for the required services. The proposed contract action is for ervices for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302. Services shall be performed at the University. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, but interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement to the Contracting Officer.
