Description: The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD 20670 intends to award a firm fixed price contract modification under NAVAIR contract N00019-05-C-0040 for forty-five (45) BQM-74E Air Launch Kits with an option for an additional twenty (20) kits to Northrop Grumman, San Diego, CA. Northrop Grumman is the designer, developer, and sole producer of the BQM-74E Aerial Target and the associated Mission Equipment Kits. Northrop Grumman is the only known firm with access to the proprietary technical data and experienced personnel to produce the Air launch Kits in the time frame required.
