- NAICS Code: 512110 Notice of Intent to Make Award for TV Video Program The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) Office of Wetlands, Oceans and Watersheds (OWOW) intends to award a fixed-price Purchase Order using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to a distinguished national cable or network television station. The purpose of this acquisition is to obtain production and broadcast services for a one-half (1/2) hour televised special about, "Building Sustainable Communities - Before the Storm." Under this Purchase Order, the Contractor shall prepare an outline on the subjects to be treated in the special, including but not limited to: conservation planning and design, low impact development, and designs/techniques that will protect water quality, save energy, reduce infrastructure costs, and protect wildlife. The outline should also discuss how the Contractor intends to incorporate existing footage on low impact development and sustainable communities from Virginia's Department of Conservation and Recreation as well as EPA's Chesapeake Bay Program. In addition, the selected Contractor shall provide a script, final production services and broadcasting for the video special. The selected Contractor shall be responsible for presenting accurate information about watersheds and new environmental strategies through a distinguished and reliable national broadcast venue that can reach millions of households. The North American Industry Classification System code for this procurement is 512110. A Request for Quote (RFQ) will be made available for interested parties. Any firm that believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which if received in 15 calendar days of this announcement will be considered.
