- The Department of Energy (DOE) Notice of Intent to Issue a Request for Proposal for Small Radioisotope Power Systems is Cancelled. The above notice of intent to issue a RFP for Small Radioisotope Power Systems is cancelled due to the lack of available funding. In the interim DOE plans to proceed with a $500,000 competitive financial assistance solicitation for potentially multiple awards for conceptual design. It is anticipated that the competitive financial assistance solicitation will be posted on the e-Center (Department of Energy e-Center) July/August 2005 with the anticipation of placing awards by December 31, 2005.
