Description
This Sources Sought Notice is seeking firms who are: Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Certified 8(a) Business, Women Owned Small Business, Certified HUBZone, Veteran Owned Small Business, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business . A market survey is being conducted to determine the size and type of business eligible and capable of satisfying this Agencys potential requirements. These requirements will include the following: (1) Logistics Management Functions and Services: Mana gement of actions leading to the Preparation, Demilitarization and Property Disposal Actions; Retail Supply operations such as Materiel Services to include Property Book, Military Clothing and Arms Room operations, Petroleum, Oils and Lubricants (POL) oper ations, Warehousing operations; Other Supply Activities; Traffic and Transportation Management Services to include Permanent Change of Station (PCS), Temporary Duty (TDY), Ground, Air and Water Transportation Services; Motor Transportation services to incl ude Fleet Management and Administrative Transportation Services; Other Transportation Services; Maintenance management to include Non-Combat Vehicles and Equipment, TMDE, Other Equipment and Other Maintenance Activities; (2) Installation, Base or Facilitie s Management to include Building Management, Installation and Building Services; Minor Construction, Maintenance and Repair of Buildings to include Minor Construction and Maintenance and Repairs; Maintenance and Repairs of Grounds and Surfaced Areas; Other Facilities Management Activities; (3) National Mobilization and Emergency Preparedness Management to include Logistics Planning and Response Team (LPRT), Logistics Support Team (LST) and Support Provided Outside the Department of Defense to such Agencies as Federal Emergency Management Age ncy (FEMA). These Logistics Management functions and services will be located in the Continential United States (CONUS), Alaska and Hawaii. If this procurement advances to the solicitation process; participating firms will be given the option of bidding o n one, various or all-geographical regions being competitively sourced. Interested firms should submit a two-page narrative demonstrating their experiences in one or all identified logistics functions for the last three years. Also in the narrative prov ide business designation, such as HUBzone, 8(a) or Disabled Veteran, firms point of contact, telephone number and provide self-certification for the category. This is not a Request for Proposal nor is it a request for placement on a solicitation mailing list. Responses are required within fourteen (14) days after publication of this notice. The Government will not pay for any material provided in response to this market survey nor return any data provided. The results of this survey will be considered effective for a period of one year from the date of notice.
